AMRESCO's TMB (3,3',5,5'-tetramethylbenzidine) Membrane Substrate consists of two solutions that are mixed immediay before use for the detection of horseradish peroxidase (HRP)-labeled probes in membrane- and immunohistochemical-based assays. This chromogenic substrate, in the presence of HRP, yields an insoluble blue product that may be observed with ambient light. The TMB Membrane Substrate solutions, when mixed, are sufficient for detection of 500 cm2 of membrane.
