TotalBLOT+™ PVDF Membranes are naturally hydrophobic polyvinylidene fluoride membranes that are well suited for Western transfers, protein binding assays and membrane bound protein sequencing. Our PVDF membranes, pure white microporous solid phase support, exhibit strong hydrophobic interactions with a wide range of proteins. Immobilized proteins can be directly visualized with all common staining reagents, including Coomassie® Blue, Amido Black, and Ponceau S. TotalBLOT+™ PVDF Membranes also allow sensitive immuno-detection in the nanogram to picogram levels. 
Our membranes are resistant to a wide range of chemical solvents and will not shrink or disfigure during destaining in methanol. In addition, resistance to trichloroacetic acid and triethylamine allow direct insertion of the membrane into amino acid analyzers and gas phase protein sequencing systems. 
Available sizes are 10 x 10 cm, 15 x 15 cm or 30 cm x 3 m (1 roll). Pore size is 0.2uM.
